A quick introduction is made to the Otto cycle, then looking at the connecting rod and crankshaft, followed by a quick insight into the mixture and the murky worlds of pre-ignition and detonation.

  • It is good explanation of how these engines work! With electronic fuel injected engines, the things changes, but only in how the fuel is introduced to the motor.

  • I miss the American voice over - bring back Bush!
