@WangXiaojun1974 Generally speaking extensions aren't for bulking. Go heavy on close-grip bench press and french curls and lighter on extensions, pushdowns etc... Hope this helped.

@scottabelcoaching if you did any tricep movement at a 45degree angle that would also work a scott abel style right? Like rever crushers or axel bar crushers?

@scottabelcoaching Thanks for the vid! I do 3 days at week this exercise sequence: -close grip bench press 4x6 @50kg minimun, 60kg maximun; -dip ex 3x10; -french press 3x8 @36kg. How is my training? What's the difference between this one and the french press?

Then your pretty stupid if you asked me.
Very nice video. Thanks Scott! I have a question: why is it when I tried to do the Scott Abel version, it's much easier than the orthodox version? Could you explain? Thanks...

@dotcomdotnet Not sure, I'd have to see how you do both versions. Probably the plane of motion emphasis

I have been lifting for 15 Years competed and set records and have learned more in these videos in the last 20 mins than in all the 15 years. Really has opened my eyes!! Thanks!!

Thanks for the great video. I've tried the Abel version and it keeps a lot of tension on the triceps throughout the whole range of motion. Gives a nice stretch as well. Is this movement considered a good tricep size builder? What would be a good movement for tricep size?

@WangXiaojun1974 Of course it is a good exercise for that. But for "building" mate is much more than just an exercise selection, but also exercise sequence, rep schemes, overall program and of course intensity levels, matching work capacity to efforts expended
