@simonbp ya i have the same problem with my intel 3945 i managed to uninstall those daemon things but i still get interference like this Found 3 processes that could cause trouble.
If airodump-ng, aireplay-ng or airtun-ng stops working after
a short period of time, you may want to kill (some of) them!
PID Name
865 NetworkManager
996 wpa_supplicant
6581 dhclient
Process with PID 6581 (dhclient) is running on interface wlan0

Awesome man, I've tried cracking my routers wep. I'm using an intel 3945 chipset along with the iwl3945 drivers on backtrack 4. Yet, whenever I fire up aireplay I'm getting 0 ARP requests and my #Data is extremely slow to accumulate. Any suggestions for a noob?

Aireplay works by sending out copies of packets that it sees on the network. If it doesn't see any of the type of packet that it wans to copy (ARP, in this case), then it will never start flooding the network.
I think you need a computer that's already part of the wireless network you're cracking to issue an arp request. Try pinging the router.
And yes, this means that you cannot quickly crack networks that don't have any traffic on them.
