I find it funny how these adverts don't actually tell you anything good about MACs. They just try and rip on PCs, but of course fail.

ZOMG I would sooo buy those teas and bath salts, not for my OS (which runs like a beauty) but for those Dungeons and PVP matches that go nothing but wrong and tick me off to no end. X}

@pkemrin fair enough the only problem is I don't agree with the ads a lot of companies put out in generally because there lying about a product, so if I did that I would nt own anything lol

I just ignore ads and go and find the products I like myself

I need to start using Linux....

@LaveaFirmis Yep, that does make perfect sense. I use Linux (Specifically Debian Linux) for some of my stuff, and Windows for mostly games.

It's not a matter of whether or not the product would be as shoddy as the commercial, it's more a matter of doing my little part to let the company know this kind of advertisement isn't appreciated, and isn't effective. I know one customer boycotting won't do much good, but my hope is that I'm not alone.

I've never been one that adverts seem to affect very much and these ones I just chose to ignore because I dont think the ad made by one part of company always reflects the product made by the another part of it and these are a joke anyway. I used to use PC's as a kid and had no idea about Linux or Mac but I used to hate PC's so when I found out I bought one and now I use both Mac and PC and use both their strengths because neither can do everything best if that makes sense...

@LaveaFirmis Well, it kind of is. The Mac's using an obvious straw man as an advertising strategy. I originally didn't use macs but didn't really have anything against them. When this line of advertisements came out, I polarized and decided not to ever buy a mac.

Not that I need a mac for anything, but any chance I did have of buying one evaporated on these ads.

why does it take so long to start in the morning? i hate starting up the laptop just to wait several minutes for the internet connection to finally start - at the end of the other tasks. why can't a computer just be "on" why you open the lid or press the button?
