  • Soon I'm a have a shop who can do the work and have some work done...or actually debating on the '13 Cobra. Which is sexy as hell.

  • Damnit I Wana Edcate myself on this whole bore put big bore port engine talk. I Wana do some work to my car buy don't know what to ask or how to ask it.

  • Damn what a sleeper ...

  • youve created a monster!

  • gorgeous

  • @Riderpale well i guess thats what sucks. cus im need a heat extractor hood to create the look of a 68 gt/cs. cus im going to eventually get the ducktail spoiler with the graphics after i put performance in my car

  • For a daily driver, I'd pass on this hood. The 4.6-5.4 block engines just

don't like top-vents in weather, but for track/weekend duty cars like this, the MRT '68 style hood is fine

and solves the issues of front end lift and cooling.

A ram-air type is better for a driver, and will give the cooling but not lessen the lift issue.

AmericanMuscle has a selection of that type.

  • @Riderpale ok so i live in california. yes there are days if any when it rains. would i be fine with this hood. because its the only hood for my car. i have a cali special. im going retro meets modern.

  • and the intake is sealed against the hood just like oem, so no issue with water near the intake.

  • Not this car 'cause it's never in weather, but yes, if in weather, the MRT hood lets water onto the block.

The injector/holes must be blown out with air asap when that happens.

    Thanks
