I know the course taught you to respect the right-of-way to pedestrians. If not, your drivers license test booklet should have instructed you to. You crossed the double yellow line making a left turn. Then you ran through a yellow light instead of preparing to stop. What safety course did you take again? You should not be the spoke person for them. You may have taken a course but it wasn't in safety!

I just finished taking my Basic Rider Course here in New York City a few days ago, and you are right. It is worth it. It cost me $350 to do it.

Glad you enjoyed the BRC class of the MSF. You really do learn life saving skills and strategies for on the street. They say that 1 weekend is equivalent to 2 years of riding experience. Be sure to go back and take the ERC. I think you would really enjoy it and you learn even more but on your bike.

I'm going to be doing the MSF course. I rode a motorcycle when I was a teenager in trails and such, but I know it's a totally different beast on the road, and I'll be glad to spend the money.
i hope the course didn't tell you to enter a crosswalk while people are still crossing. you came a few feet from hitting that guy while he was walking with a lady and a baby. take your time captain.
