I LOVE Bill Hicks, but his anti-alcohol bit is kind of irrelevant if he's saying all and any drugs should be legal. Because people have far more issues with heroin, cocaine, meth, etc than alcohol and those drugs cause far more problems for families and individuals. I absolutely agree with him about pot though.

@NaJa0283 Yes but you can DRINK your drug and the govornment don't care. It's the drugs you don't pay TAXES ON...! Don't you know that morality is based upon what the govonment can make money on? You can pop perscription drugs at the drop of a hat and who cares if you O.D. as long as the govornment gets its money BUT if you buy a tax-free joint? "LOCK EM UP!" And who pays to put more people in prison than any nation on earth? WE do!

Perhaps we should order our kids to do drugs and if they don't, they get an ass beating! It would make "Just say NO" go a long way. Really, Rebellion is the trademark of teenagers and if ordered to do drugs...

@killtroy811 You should check out a new documentary made about him. It's high budget, very high quality production! Not the same as the man himself but his popularity is actually growing with time. Can't ask for much more.

@MarkM2288 i was gunna comment on his post saying something similar, but realized you pretty much covered it. drugs AND alcohol, that's my favorite saying because alcohol is a fucking drug too!

@Hendrix0strat Who has the right to tell anyone what to put in their bodies? If it were all legalised then the users would know what they were getting and they wouldn't feel the need to hide it from their doctors, family etc. Add to that you cure a large proportion of crime in one fowl swoop. People use it if it's legal or not, so why not just educate rather than ostracise? I've never heard a good argument for keeping it illegal as it all depends on treating people like children.

@Hendrix0strat all or nothing , i mean its subjectiv which drug you prefer and if you know the risks , you should do what you want , if they would legalize heroin next day i dont think that there would be more consumers ,
