Product Rant: St. Ives Apricot Scrub

disclaimer: I am not a professional dermatologist. I made this video because the news that I found out something horrible about a popular product and I wanted to spread the word and wanted everyone to have healthy skin. I did not make this to bash anyones favorite product. I did it to help :)

I've used this scrub for years and only seen improvements in my skin, maybe this didn't work for you because you have sensitive skin and it obviously didn't work for your dad because it was recommended by his dermatologist not to use anything to exfoliate his skin in it's condition at the time. But I definatley love the stuff and it works great for me.

I think people are blowing this whole thing out of proportion... how could do you think that this is bad for your skin when you're using products with awful, harsh chemicals in them that can cause premature aging, wrinkles, and skin cancer? Sheesh... just because this one has more apparent "cons" doesn't mean its the worst product in the world. I love this scrub, and just because a bunch of random people claim that its bad for your skin, I'm not going to stop using it.

Well you're retarded for using it after your doctor said not to & so is your dad. You're not supposed to use it everyday either. Maybe if you actually read the directions it says 3-4 times a week. Everyones skin is different and personally for me it's a great product & judging by the comments alot of people agree so maybe do some more "research" next time so you don't look like a dumbass in front of the entire internet. Im going to say this nicely unlike the rest of the twats on here, but on the back of mine it says use 3-4 times a week. Not everyday. Its a scrub, not a daily cleanser. Scrubbing everyday will damage your skin, especially if its sensitive or dry. Also, you dont need to scrub hard because the microbeads exfoliate just fine with gentle rubbing. Again, this is an EXFOLIANT. Not a daily wash, therefore use 2-3 times a week. Ugh.

I disagree with your rant, but only because I've used this product for almost five years and it's done nothing. I'm not trying to be rude, though-- I'll most likely end up paying for using this product later in life. Thanks for the tip and making us aware of the warnings! Your shirt is super cute too. U DONT KNOW WHAT THE FUCK U ARE TALKING ABOUT! ....IF U SCRUB WITH VERY GENTLY OR MIX IT WITH SOME CETAPHILE CLEANER ..IT IS FINE! ANY SCRUB THAT IS USED TO OFTEN ..IS BAD FOR UR SKIN! UR JUST A DUMB FUCKED UP KID WITH BAD SKIN....U NEED TO DO UR RESEARCH FIRST!

thanks for the tip, i have used it before but I think i will use it as a body scrub instead i use a few things from lush that have given me way better results, but everyones skin is different

To add to my previous post, you're just being stupid for using it everyday and scrubbing it hard into your skin... do you not have common sense? That's just stupidity.
