No. This book is not the only witness to God.

God is his own wItness throIgh Jesus Christ.

THEN 12, then 70, then 120, then 5000, then 8000, then Jerusalem, them Samaria, then the whole Middle East, Asia, Europe, BILLIONS AND BILLIONS of the whole world in 2 thousand years have witnessed with miracles, and blood and sacrifice and praise and joy and repentance and living THAT JESUS IS THE TRUE GOD.

I'm reading this book right now and it's very good. I attend Bethlehem and Piper is so passionate about the bible and it's such a blessing.

@devilshomie name EVERY contradiction...and you talk about Abraham killing his son...you obviously didnt read any further cuz GOD provided and gave him a way out like HE ALWAYS DOES...and the population started by two people?...YEA if i lived for over nine hundred years and had a wife im sure we'd have tons of kids...there are people who have 13 kids in 13 years...sometimes 12 or 11..and dont forget that they multiply too...the Bible is a TRUE story and its GOD's story whether you accept or not.

@hannanjo1 The book has many contridictions in it and many things that lack logic for example I highly doubt that the world was created in seven days and that the entire population was started by two people. I've read stories about rape and incest and about a man who was going to kill his son because god told him too. It's a story, a solution to what we don't understand about the natural world sort of like the greek and roman gods

@devilshomie If you truly think this about the Bible then you clearly haven't actually read it or even studied it at all. You should read it you may be pleasantly surprised by the things you discover.

@hannanjo1 If this is a "holy book" that god himself wrote that had things in it that are flawed and outdated than the book is flawed and outdated and that means god is flawed which defeats the whole purpose of an all powerful all knowing god, I'm supposed to follow a book that encourages rape and murder and incest no thanks I'd rather read Harry Potter

@devilshomie I feel like you may putting to much thought in to the old testament then. The rules set in place in Leviticus and other books are clearly not relevant to modern times, he had reasons for setting those when he did.

@devilshomie God isn't an asshole. If he was an asshole then he wouldn't have sent down his only son to die on the cross for our sins.
