@papashayyy actually, it's the opposite. It's pack behavior, like with wolves. The pack leader is making music, so Albert is joining in. If he found it unpleasant or it hurt his ears, he wouldn't sit there wagging his tail - he'd run off. Albert is getting his groove on, that's all.

So funny! I have two yellow labs and my boy-dog howls to the piano all the time - even quiet Debussy pieces. He doesn't say a word, though, when I play the organ. He just goes to sleep while my girl dog sits up and listens. Great dogs and great companions!

when dogs howl over sounds, that does not mean they enjoy it, they are howling over the sound because they find it unpleasant...

@papashayyy ...are a part of the family, even if they are at the lowest rank. They would always want to join in family activities. If your singing is accompanied by the howling of the dog, don't be offended. It does not mean that your singing is hurting the dog's ears. It means that the dog is singing with you! " So it's all cool :D Yay.
