*Nick's POV*
The bell rang and it was time for next period. English...great. Because I'm AMAZING at english. Oh well. I overheard some talking...
??: What do you have now?
???: I've got english.
??: Dang. I've got math. Well, see you around!
???: Bye, Jayme!
Huh...I recognize the voice...but...who is it? I walked into room 44 as I turned the corner.
Teacher: Hello, I'm Ms. Keller. Name please?
"Um..Nick Jonas."
Ms. Keller: Ah, Jonas. In the back, left corner. Right by the clock.
"Okay." Hey...now I can count the minutes until class ends! I set my books on the desk, slung my bag over the desk chair. And sat there. Then a girl walked in.
???: Hi.
Ms. Keller: Hello, I'm Ms. Keller. Your name?
???: Aly Burke.
I knew I knew her! It's Aly! The girl that got Kayla off my back!
Ms. Keller: Here we are! Burke! In the back, next to Mr. Jonas, over there. *points to me*
She's next to me? At least I'll have someone to talk to.
Aly: *sets her books down, turns to face me* Oh, hey! Your that guy from the hallway!
That's one way to remember me by. "Oh, yeah. Hi. Thanks for saving me back there."
Aly: Oh, its nothing. Kayla can be a real nutcase.
"Tell me about it."
Ms. Keller: That's everyone! Settle down now, class! So, as you know, I'm Ms. Keller. I hope the seat arrangements are okay for everyone.
I looked back at Aly and smiled at her. She gave me a cute one back.
Ms. Keller: Now some basic rul--
Kayla: *busts through the door* Sorry I'm late!
NO! NO NO NO NO! Come ON!
Ms. Keller: That's alright. Do you have a pass?
Kayla: Yep! *hands her the slip*
Ms. Keller: In the empty desk in the back, in front of Mr. Jonas.
PERFECT. JUST PERFECT.
Kayla: *sits down, turns to face me* Hey, Nicky.
"God. Don't call me that."
Kayla: Ew. THAT'S in our class?
Obviously referring to Aly.
Aly: Yes. Yes I am. Nice to see you too, Kayla! What happened to the stache? Finally get it plucked?
I could help but smirk at her comment.
Kayla: I'll have you know, It was not a stache. It was peach fuzz. FYI, it faded on it's own.
Aly: Sure it did.
Ms. Keller: No talking back there!
I could tell this was going to be a very interesting english class.
*end POV*
*Kat's POV*
I walked out of my dorm to get a pretzel, when I found Penny butchering Kevin.
Penny: You do!
Kevin: Leave me alone!
"Penny, what are you doing?"
Penny: Trying to get Keith to admit that he likes--
Kevin: Fruit! Which I don't...cause I'm...allergic!
"Alright then..anyway, Kevin. I'm going to get a pretzel, you wanna come?"
Kevin: YES! I mean...uh...sure.
Penny: Later, Keith. *cackles*
Kevin: It's..KEVIN.
"GOODBYE, Penny."
And we walked toward the stairs. Elevator was STILL NOT WORKING.
Kevin: I feel horrible for you. Having to live with her like that.
"Yeah, she already got toe jam in my toothbrush. Now I have to buy a new toothbrush."
Kevin: *gags* That's gross.
"Tell me about it!"
It was nice to talk to someone that understood. I mean, I've been able to talk to Mel, Aly, Regina, Meg, and Jayme...but..I mean like..a sweet, caring, GUY that's gets it.
Then we reached the cafe.
Kevin: So, you want to get some coffee too?
"Sure! I love Starbuck's iced coffees."
Kevin: Really? Me too!
"Awesome!"
We walked over to the Starbuck's line to get coffee, then to the lunch line for pretzels and hotdogs. We chatted about all kinds of things and I found that I have so much in common with him. I love college.
