Here's another clip of the progress on the Hoover Dam Bypass Bridge. (6/6/09) Construction of the Colorado River Bridge is advancing with construction of the 1,060 foot twin-rib concrete arch. The Colorado River Bridge is the central portion of the Hoover Dam Bypass Project. Construction on the nearly 2,000 foot long bridge began in late January 2005 and the completion of the entire Hoover Dam Bypass Project is expected in June 2010. **I added a song to the background this time, since there was lots of wind noise in the video.**

This was a truly awesome sight to see. I had the oppertunity to take my family on a vacation through this area in June and it just amazed me to see this structure. Thanks for the video as I did not get to take any pictures.

That's what I love about USA- you are not scared to think big. In Canada we struggle with a 3 foot wide bike lane. Love Direct TV too !!!!!!! Way to go.
