almost all dogs can swim, most even the basic breds are stronger swimmers than Michael Phelps. There are a few dogs in every breed that can be an exception to the rule, but the fact that someeone listed that PWD's can't swim is'nt true. Yahoo news and their affiliates took a few retard pils,lolthat is a funny fact mundy, kinda like a cattle dog not herding catttle.Hel Bo probably has a bullet proof vest and everything, and you know he is eating better than we are, lucky pooch.

I have one of these, of her to death, absolutely perfect. (almost 5 years old).

I would move the maintenance mark to a 2, intelligence is definitely a 4.

And I've also never seen a PWD with this disease it talks about. My breeder also has never had one with it, and shes bread quite a few.

I think we need to send Yahoo news a film clip of the amazing swimming Portuguese water dogs! Who knew? Ha.

I have no doubts at all. I have a standard poodle, which is closely related to the PWD, and she sure can swim.

Who knows deathtouch, maybe he's just too fat to swim? Or maybe his bullet-proof vest is too heavy... yeah that must be it!

Well ! I am from Portugal ! I know 6 Portuguese Water Dog and they can all swimm.

If you have any doubts, I even have films on youtube, taken by me of them swimming.

Do you know that Bo (the new White House dog) has a card now with his photo on it, and on the back of the card where it lists facts on the breed, it says PWDs can't swim! It was on the Yahoo news headlines, of all things.

Geez Obama, doesn't the name WATER dog give you any kind of hint???
