  • How is the RME Multiface II and it's sound quality/latency? I'm looking to purchase one.

  • @PurpSmith it's a very highly regarded card. However if I was buying again I'd probably go for the Fireface UCX

  • ir was a custom colour scheme. I think you can still get it on the Sonar 8.5 forum on the cakewalk site.

  • Supermicro X8DAL mobo, Twin Xeon E5630 2534MHZ (16 processors), 24GB RAM, 120GB SSD system drive, 8TB in RAID 1+0, 4TB in Raid 1, RME Pcie Multiface II, Nvidia Quadra FX4800, Dell 2560x1600 monitor. Not a cheap machine.

  • Is the GUI skin or customized by you

  • Um, how do I get the SSL module on my prochannel?! I don't see it...

  • So glad someone finally explained this (extra props for doing it less than 1.5 min)! Thank you, still getting used to X1.

  • Thanks Paul. This is much easier than some of the alternatives and it works well.

It would be even better if the SSL PC4K S had 0:0 - infinity ratio adjustment instead of the three presets..

  • what are the specs on your pc? Getting ready to build a custom PC and am now considering Sonar thanks to your vids so just wondering what you would suggest.
