  • i hear you, but you have to admit kurt basically invented this harmonic language and along with mark turner what people are calling 'modern jazz' these days. it's all rosenwinkel. but obviously, guys like jonathan are building on it.

  • @destroymusic I think the language of modern jazz really began in coltrane's later years. To say that kurt invented it.... a stretch. Helped develop it? Sure, but didn't really invent it.
