Map editor with XNA

I'm sorry to every people who asked my that for a long time and to who I never answered. But you must know, this source code was a 2 months rush with very few C# knowledge, french comments, two and half years old and still made with the first xna version. I never updated it and I know I made many begginer mistakes on that code. I really would like to update my code now that I have lot more C# (and XNA too) experience, but I don't have the time and I don't think I'll ever do it. But if you want my source code anyway you can have it, you've been warned ;).

It's a map editor created with XNA, compatible with stereoscopic screen, made in 10 weeks for a diploma project in engineer school of Geneva. A graphics engine and a little physic engine was made and useable in an other project adapted for use a map made with this editor.

Il s'agit d'un éditeur de terrain créé à l'aide de XNA, compatible avec les écrans stéréoscopiques, réalisé en 10 semaines pour un projet de diplôme à l'école d'ingénieur de Genève. Un moteur graphique et un petit moteur physique ont été créés et sont utilisables dans un autre projet adapté pour utiliser un terrain réalisé à l'aide de l'éditeur.

Nice work .I downloaded it but when I opened it and tryed to convert to C# express edition it writes that "this project type is not supported by this installation".And I have xna on my computer although I' m not quite familiar with xna and xml but I want your map editor to run on my computer. Does anyone know what the problem can be? I couldn't even find the exe file of this project

Hi, thx for your comment, actually this is an old software (2007 !) and it runs only with the first version of XNA (XNA 1.0). So it won't run if you have the last version. And if you convert it to XNA 3.1, there will be some problems that occurs.

You coudn't find the exe because you have to compile it (with visual studio express 2005 and XNA 1.0).

it's my source code but the translation is not finished, I don't know if I'll finish it, not enough motivation and others projects to do (not XNA project at the moment). I hope it'll help you anyway for making your own engine.

I received a lot of request for my program (program and source). Often I say I have to translate it in english (because is in french) and sometimes I don't send any answers... I'm really sorry but I'm doing a big travel since january, I haven't really the time to do that and I haven't a lot of motivation in this moment for programmation. With the number of people interested I think I'll let my program in free download when it'll be translated but not before a moment I'm sorry :(...

OR you could buy far cry 2, and make some maps with anything you want on it
