Ethiopia is made up of many different ethnic groups and I don` t  think race has anything to do with being an Ethiopian citizen, you can be 100 percent somalis, oromo, mursi, amhara or agame etc and Ethiopian citizen!!!

@Mastewalful well you write about that speaking other peoples language doesn't make you a citizen.amharic  is the official language of ethiopia for now, day will come to leave for amharic ppl only that is when we and some other ethnics secede their land from the union or withdrew formally from membership in a federal union.then you say you can't be a citizen of amara,but now i'm part of it,its not up to you god bless EPRDF the leading party for ever.
