This kind of vintage diesel heavy machinery is awesome.

Need an engine overhaul. Missing some cylinders. Otherwise a great looking machine.

@GotabemeD Thank you for your comment and information. You have confirmed what i beleived to be correct about my BD. My DDH's are both 6 speeds from 1948 and 1949.

@980berringa Perhaps I can help? If your DJXB is orignial to the chassis, then you most certainly do have a BD four speed, made between 1936-1939. Chassis serial #'s would be 1D00 to 4D236. Engine serial #'s 800509 to 803207. From the original Cletrac "Tractor model, serial number, instruction book and parts book identification sheet" that I have (Printed February1945), you can ONLY have a BD. That engine model was ONLY used for that production run. Your DRXB's only came in DD 4 & 6 Speeds.
I'm impressed, 1938 model with hydraulic lift cylinders.

@gmellis Hi there. The home made blade and low pressure hydraulic sytem (very slow moving) where retro fitted at some time after arriving here in Australia. Have used to to some levelling.
