this week - URGENT - send letters, FAX, call, emails to Italian Embassy closest to your hometown and urge them to rush and tell the Italian government not to change wordings for the official sign language there from LIS (Italian Sign Language) to LMG (Language of Mime and Gestures). Facebook has plenty of places to get more information, but I can get some beginner's links to you if you need them. Tomorrow, there's a gathering at the DC Italian Embassy and some of us here in Bay Area are going over to one in San Francisco too. Come and help lend this very important and time sensitive support to our Italian brothers and sisters ASAP! Grazie!

  • Yep, I did my part by going to Rochester Italian Consulate thanks to Patti Durr's notification yesterday. I hope the Italian government would rescind the original proposal and leave LIS alone, instead of imposing LMG on others.

  • I am going to send all letters to embassies in USA

  • I sent a letter via fax to an embassy in NYC

  • I sent a latter via fax to an embassy in NYC

  • It is sad to see the old Milan 1880 again! They DO NOT understand the true language at all!!! Thanks for vlog and sharing with us about this event.

  • I agree they're very inhumane. I think it's also obviously they show their hatred on purpose as they bothered to change LIS to LMG. Maybe AGBA was partly responsibility for that? It earned millions in charities. It's as good as stealing, because they deceive that oralism are good for us.

  • I will be there in my heart. Go LIS Go!!

  • Wash, DC address of Embassy of Italy: 3000 Whitehaven St. NW, Washington DC Noon to 5 pm! Excellent vlog, Ella!
