@punpunpunpunctuation So true. Unfortunately the video recorder this was captured on does not due justice for the graphics capability this machine rendered at the time. It was a breakthrough in graphics technology. Too sad we don't see Amiga around anymore.

The only computer you will ever need?
That's quite a bold statement... but okay.... so how do I get Call of Duty: Black Ops running on this with all the settings maxed?
-
I wouldn't exatuly say the only computer I would ever need, can wait for 20 years time when my iPad looks as shit as this does now
-
@punpunpunpunctuation so was the xerox alto but that was only used in offices and uni's

@89990000 Fucking loser. 9 Minutes of entertainment went quickjer than 30 seconds of yawndom. You sir and your family need to die in a 9 minute house fire..... Now thats entertainment worth watching.
-
A 9 minute commercial, at least commercials are now short or if its 9 minutes i'm going to die!!

This was my first computer with the add on hard drive(I think 10 gigs hard drive space) and another 512 of ram. It was hot back in 89 or some where close!

The dislikes are from the staff of Microsoft that are pissed off because they don't know how to make an operating system that is error free like Workbench lol.

Amiga was my electric dreams... I played it day and night and non stop. Games were awesome with music that can't even be matched today which goes to show how far in the future the Amiga was. The Amiga "Workbench" never ever failed once and yet Microsoft windows have to update every few years and each one gets worse and worse. PC's have to upgrade hardware to run things better where as Amiga was complete and had an option of 1MB ram only if wanted not needed...... I missed Super Cars, Hyrbris.
The graphics capabilities of the Amiga were easily 10 years ahead of its time. Had they been properly marketed you can bet Microsoft would not be who they are today, Windows would not be the dominant OS, and what's more had Amiga succeeded it would have meant that TODAY's computers would have already reached the level of complexity which they now won't reach for another 10 - 15 years. In other words, Amiga's failure delayed further advancements in home computing.

I wonder if Microsoft got their ideas for Windows interface from the Amiga WorkBench, there's so many operating systems that seem to be based on the WorkBench GUI. makes you think doesnt it.
