  • @kks8142 When demand is low, DPM consolidates the running VMs onto fewer physical hosts and powers down the unneeded physical hosts. It powers physical hosts back on when needed by virtual machines.

  • can the DPM technology

    1) power-up the physical host ? or it just brings

    2) up/down the virtual machines there by the power usage will be optimal ?

    which one saves the most ? 1 or 2 ?  can you explain a bit ?
