  • mine climb on the mesh directly under the light ! i figured thed burn themself it might hear up the class difrantly though

  • @LiamFishing well said'

  • shouldn't you get a filter for it?

  • its a little too bright..i got a red light bulb and that looks like enough light..

  • The frog is smart enough not to burn itself, however, the American green tree frogs perfer room temp, so a heat lamp is not needed. If the lamp is just for light, that is completley fine, just turn it of at night, because they are nocturnal.

  • The frog will go upside down but it should be smart enoff to not get burnt . If that is a UVB light the UVB rays will not pass throug glass so it is pointless but as heat it is fine :)

  • its too bright

  • The smaler one I have the same thing. The smaller one is the male and the males croak. My frogs croak at like 6 to 7 in the morning

  • ive gt four american green tree frogs and was wondering if you no what the female looks like i have 2 that croak one bigger one and one smaller one nd the other two dnt one that dnt croak is biggest and one is smallest can you help?

  • no it wouldnt but in all fairness u dont need the light as they get enough heat from a heat mat
