  • there is nothing like a mopar all the rest take a back seat

  • While I really like Mopars, perhaps , in part at least because I learned to drive on my father's 1950 Dodge, I like all well designed cars, be they be Chevy or other Gm, Ford, or even foreign cars. The lines of a 49 Cadillac Fastback, or a 58 Bonneville, or a 54 Mercury or a 56 T-bird are very nice indeed in my opinion.

Thanks again for taking the time to post your comment.

  • Summitdrinker: Thanks for the compliment. The 413 with the inline 2x4 setup was rated at 385 hp, wasn't it? I agree with your sentiments about the 62-64 b bodies.

  • Evil95GT: Thanks for the compliments on the car. And good luck to your husband as he finishes his 440. I think 1962 Dodges are way cool!

  • Thanks for the compliment. The engine is a 413 wedge out of a 1964 Imperial. I wanted a 2x4 setup but didn't want to pay the $s for a crossram. The intake amd carbs are Edlebrock items.

  • to jest to!! it is it!!

  • good website for 62 thru 65 mopars: 1962to1965mopar.ornocar.c m

  • unsure what dodge rated there's at, but it was the same engine that went into NONE ram 300's. the 300's were rated at 380HP in 1962

the 1962 300's 413 Ram intake were rated at 405hp

  • 62 B body 2x4 inlines were very rare, a early year option that was dropped for the max wedge.

unsure how many were made but less than 100 total from dodge/plymouth I would guess

nice looking machine, 62 thru 64 b bodies are my favorite cars

  • They certainly are way cool! I hope to get a '62 Dart hardtop soon...
