Among other things, Infinity Ward and Robert Bowling have announced a "nerf by proxy" to the shotguns in Modern Warfare 3. Coming soon, the "glitch" in the game that allows the Extended Mags attachment to affect both the number of shells and amount of damage-wielding pellets INSIDE each shell will be fixed. And for added hilarity in this video, I try using the SPAS-12 LIVE while talking about the coming nerf. Enjoy!!!

they did Nerf the 95, by reducing the hip-fire accuracy, and the 1 hit kill ratio, and the fmg also got Nerf, by making the recoil more. but they failed badly with both

Infinity Ward made a mistake on nerfing the Striker. They should of buffed all other shot guns and really nerf the akimbo fm69 along with the type 95.

Why the fuck would they nerf the shotguns?! They are seriously the most underpowered guns in the game. The range and power of every shotgun is terrible. All they are doing is making every weapon but assault weapons worthless to use. They need to make the shotguns from MW2 the Primaries in MW3.

@pokemasterelite Unless this was just recently updated, this is not true in MW3. I've tested most of the shotguns approximately 2 weeks ago and ADS'ing gave the same exact spread as hipfiring without Steady Aim (whether Steady Aim was on or not).

While ADS'ing was in fact worthwhile in the older versions, AFAIK it does not help in MW3.
