Todd Friel on how Twilight affects christian girls

Taking it outside the Christian perspective. I agree that Twilight is a very negative influence on girls. I do not allow my little girl to read/watch the series, because I don't want her thinking she should be some submissive, dependent, and pathetic little creature that takes mental and emotional abuse for the sake of a one sided love. A love for a monster that wants to kill her. How is this a healthy relationship? What is this teaching our girls? I think it's disgusting.

Item: Finite wickedness.
Debtor: The God of Infinite righteousness and judgment.
Price: Separation from the Debtor.
Payment plan #1: We fulfill an everlasting price of Sin.
Payment plan #2: The Debtor removes our debt with His everlasting righteousness by fulfilling the price Himself, a finite price.
Which would you choose?

Negative effects?
I am not a christian and really I don't like the very strong mormon touch to Twilight. I mean the movies are laughable bad the books to.. sadly they seem to make it normal for teenage girls and their mothers to change their idea about romance.
Really guys breaking in to watch you sleep isn't cute. Call the police! Definitely after that thing with the car...
Still doesn't the bible also says that women are second rang. Not in as direct words..they are "special" see.

Unfortunately vampires are modeled after fallen angels. Those who love the vampire figure are those who have a love for darkness.
Hmm, that note about these type of romance movies being "emotional pornography" that Friel makes is interesting. Just curious, that note against imagination, is that just supposed to be against BAD types of imagination(such as pornography) or what?

@Coyne1988 I think it is talking about lusting after somebody but also can go as deep as if you are desiring/expecting your partner to be like that "perfect" person.
