Isn't it a good thing a Republican came in to clean up New York! Seriously.
P.S. Lou's best solo album.

I need my juliet back, fuck living like a prisoner for the ex who was unfaithful, I am young, noble, honest, i know I can get her back, it was never too late, only bad timing... hope we survive through happiness

if you play or write songs, this 1989 album is required "reading". it's rock n roll..
-
D'you read the novels of Patrick Hamilton (1904-61)? England's original bad-boy writer.
Best wishes, sunshine

@bollockowithalob haha yep, no doubt. But the Romeo and Juliet twist is cool. Lou Reed is such a clever songwriter! It's not a love song, but it still has the air of a Shakespearan tragedy. So cool

"Romeo Rodriguez." When I heard that name the first time I listened to this song, I was totally sold. Wow. What a great spin on Shakespeare. Dirt Boulevard, indeed!
