I guess around the time I started playing it the popularity was really just dying off.. I'll be first to admit, and times I just couldn't find people on servers and used bots at some points of filming.. still much fun to be had with the bots, however.

I'm downloading this as I type this. I'm getting the whole 1.2 GB community edition. All I want to know: how many people play this on a regular basis? This looks awesome and I don't want to waste download time on something no one plays.

@genola i know a late response, but look for Insurgency, its another mod thats sorta like this except you cant customize your kits and theres no CTF basically.

@Arayziel Insurgency seems closer to this game more than project reality. Look up videos if you dont know. It's basically a Half-Life 2 mod/Source Engine mod. Great game and still widely played.

@IAm1337Tube project reality first came out in 05 and has had updated graphics and content making it a newer machine type of game. And nice caps kid. Besides, PR needs a good computer to even remotely play it correctly unless you want the computer to lag and you WILL get killed constantly. Talking from experience.

I just go this mod today. It''s amazing how this mod gets weapon handling, sights, etc... better than 99% of games today.

PR is pretty much a successor to this mod in many ways, but my computer can't run it... If anyone likes this mod though, definitely check it out.

This had the best damn aiming system I've ever seen in a game. It felt so smooth, yet realistic. And it had something no FPS has done since: weapon collision detection.

This mod has bots, so you can play it fine by yourself! The bots work well enough. Thumbs up this comment if you think everyone should know this.
