Shutter Up and Row 2011 Crow Qualifying ride-along

Thus us the video I took with my waterproof camera that was strapped to my backpack's strap. Kind of a different perspective of the race for those who haven't participated or only watched from the shore.

CROW stands for the Canoe Races Of the World. Its a friendly cast competition between departments that involves teams of 10 people rowing a Canoe from the old Explorer Canoe attraction around Tom Sawyer's island and the fastest time wins. We were doing great in our qualifying run until we got a little off course round the Haunted Mansion bend. Our final time was 6:42. Oh and those of you wondering why there is a french maid sitting in front of me, the theme we chose for our team was Rocky Horror, or as we say: The Rocky HorOAR Picture CROW. And that is our Magenta.
