Chapter 13: Choices.
______Jocelyn's POV______
Sitting there and waiting for soundcheck to end could be explained in one word, endless. I wanted to just get up and walk out but I knew I couldn't just do that. I needed to be there to listen. They always asked me what I thought and I promised I wouldn't leave Frankie. I can't say that I was paying much attention to the beat of the drum, strums of the guitars, or the singing. I was paying more attention to my thoughts. Then again I guess I always am but thats not likely something I'd tell someone. Frankie held my hand the entire time and never once said a word. No on really did they just listened or pretended to. I was one of those pretenders most of the time. It's not like I don't think they're talented it's just a little different. I love they're music but I hear it so much that it gets repetitive. I always love hanging with Nick when he's writing something new. All of their stuff is amazing but just like any song when you hear it almost every day ten times a day it tends to get old. I'm not going to be all fake and say that I am never going to get tired of every single song because most likely I will. I hate when the crew bring their Jonas crazy family along. They always say that they'll be fans forever and that things will never change, even their liking for a song but I don't think thats true. I don't believe in forever anymore. Everything that I've ever thought was real or true or 'forever' has simply disappeared and changed everything I've ever come to believe. I always thought that Nick would be my forever. I thought that he'd be the one with me forever whether as a brother or a lover I didn't know. I just wanted and still want him there.
The endless moments finally ended and I was overjoyed to be able to escape to the dressing rooms. Unfortunately, that dream was crushed as soon as it entered my mind. Paul, followed by the boys, came to the area we were sitting at. "We are going to meet in the dressing rooms. I have some news." That was all we said and no one commented. It was probably just going to be about leaving tonight. Just a reminder not to mess up the rooms or forget anything. I didn't think anything much of it.
Frankie and I started walking back together. Denise had gone with Paul and Nick and Kevin were helping prepare their instruments and the set list. I couldn't find Joe. That is until he appeared in front of us. I jumped and Frankie rolled his eyes. They had an ongoing game of scares. Frankie was winning 15 to 12. The basic rules were scaring the other person. They always asked me when if I wanted to join. I declined every time. I'm easily spooked. It's inevitable. As soon as I was sure I wouldn't smack him for scaring me I asked, "Shouldn't you be helping your brothers?''
"They're big buys they don't need my help."
"Still though."
"Nah I already asked Kevin if I could leave, chill."
"You mean he actually let you go?"
"He didn't want me tackling Nick off the stage. We need him tonight."
"Still peeved about Beth?" I asked.
"You aren't?"
"No, I am. I just don't know what I'm feeling anymore. Anger, sadness, who knows. I'm mostly just confused at this point."
"I don't see why you're confused. You're probably both mad and sad. I mean I guess you should be used to it by now but. . ." He trailed off. He must have seen the expression on my face. I couldn't see it but I could feel it and it didn't feel very pleasant. "Sorry." He amended.
I sighed. "It's fine. I mean you are right."
"Sorry Jojo, really I am."
"I know. Let's just go to the meeting."
Frankie had been quiet throughout this. I know that he's young but he's wise for his age. I know he's mad at Nick. I feel bad for dividing the family. They should support Nick and not me and they shouldn't feel bitter towards his choices. I have a right and they do too but are they choosing the right choice? I don't necessarily know the answer to that.
I'm a couple chapters ahead and thought I would post some :D
Q: have you seen new moon? what did u think? good? Bad? Book better? movie better? im still deciding to see it or not.

saw like it but hated the fact that i had to see it in spanish but nonetheless saw it it was much better than new moon but obviously books are always better than the movies you should go see it

aw this is sad. Jojo seems so sad and it's so tragic. lol okay i'm not thinking well obviously lol. but i loved it.
I'm not a big twilight person, doesn't appeal to me at all. Haven't read the books or seen either of the movies and have no plans to do so. not really my thing. everyone's gonna probably jump on me for saying this but whatever.
