my point is, the store raised 9200 dollars. he only spend 2000 on lighting. i think this would be a better effort if he spent ALL the money he earned. think about it, this guy juststuck 7200 in his pocket.

Geez jkrych. Money doesn't really grow on moneytrees and it isn't really gone once you spend it. It's about cash flow.

This is a great way to vote with your feet and dollars to make an impact. A lot of people do this by themselves. Carrotmob is just organizing it to make an immediate result to prove a point. Both to the consumer and the companies.

But it takes a lot more than carrotmob to make a real impact. The consumer needs to start thinking about every purchase by themselves.

for now... but we are working on a way to make it work for global brands. In the meantime, have you asked any of those chains if they're franchises? Many of them are, which means that technically, they're locally owned and have some autonomy.
