Homemade Water Cooled CPU Rig Part 1

This was my testing computer riged a homemade water block P3 450MHZ over clocked to 500MHZ, 512MB ram, 6GB hard drive and a ATI RAGE FURY MAXX dual GPU video card 64MB. Windows Me also a 450 Watt power supply. The pump was from a fountain pump 1 watt 120V and a radiator from a car heater it worked good (Load:30C) (Idling:23C)

good job , well done , the radiator looks like a heater matrix , you can get them for a few bucks at a car breakers , you can also get 12V pumps ( windscreen washer ) from the same place .

@twinman009 the 12v pumps suck balls but if you get toyota heater core pumps and clean them up, they work great

@30GB Doesen't matter each one .. they all produce a lot of noise. Fishtank pump 1200L/m and there is no CPU you can't cool :))) You can get it for about 15€ / 14$ and it's "soundless" with much higher watter flows ;))

@30GB Yes the radiator in the dashboard from a car is prfect. I build it for my i7 920 using OC mobo X58A-OC with the 4G buttn and got at the highest OCing (4.0G - By switching on the buttn 4G) 56degrees. But carefull !! Homemade watterblocks can leak. Solderd my 3 times before it held the breshure ob 4bar. No such preshure doh but i wanted to be shure.

Lol I still fuck around with old pentium 3 and 4 shit. Very cheap.. if it breaks you just bin it and grab a new one from the shelf.

not screwing around with my 2500K setup. Old hardware is still allot of fun imho.
