Too bad he ditched the manic Jihad Jerry thing. I think it's totally in the same vibe as DEVO, maybe a little more preachy. He was trying to drive a central message of thinking for yourself that I don't think quite sunk in. I think by this point he was thru being cool and just wanted to try and reach people.

I always liked Jihad Jerry and wished he had carried on the bluesy-electro thing.

You know the left was having a freak over women not being in combat, now they make fun of it? Just a bunch of whiners, gotta whine about anything except their own whining! I'm a Devo fan too, well I probably grew out of that, it was 25 to 30 years ago (dang!)

I agree. I love DEVO and their early music was brilliant. However I don't care much for Jerry on his own. He's seems rather pretentious and come across as a very pessimistic, negative, control freak asshole.
