This video was made to show you: Budapest Ferihegy is not the only international public airport in Hungary, however most people know only about that.
DEBRECEN airport is located in Eastern Hungary, used mainly by regular charter flights (Hemus Air, Koral Blue, Hamburg International, TunisAir etc.). A few years ago Hungarian national carrier MALÉV operated regular scheduled flights between DEB and BUD, but it ceased because there were not enough passengers to worth to operate.
BÉKÉSCSABA and Szeged are located in Southeastern Hungary, but Szeged has no terminal building, so Békéscsaba was developed, but it is mainly used for sport so far.
SÁRMELLÉK (FlyBalaton) is located in Western Hungary, very close to one of Hungary's main tourist attractions, Lake Balaton and the thermal lake in Hévíz. For a short period, EasyJet and Ryanair operated regular flights, but then the airport was closed for more than a half year, therefore low-cost airlines left. Now it is used mainly by DHL, other cargo companies and charter flights.
PÉCS-Pogány is located in Southwestern Hungary. A few times Austrian Arrows (Tyrolean) operated some flights to Vienna, but there were too few passengers, so it ceased similarly to the MALÉV flights to DEB.
GYŐR-Pér is located in Northwestern Hungary and is regularly used by small cargo planes, business jets and daily used by Private Wings from AUDI Headquarters (Audi engines and TT Coupé are produced in Győr).

*** UPDATE: The Challenger at Győr-Pér airport is a Swiss REGA-aircraft, not from Swiss Rotes Kreuz *** Sorry for my mistake.

  • Szia ezek a képek mikor készültek?
