Canadian Tire has brought back a holiday favourite to promote their Christmas specials with a little help from the elves at Pattison Outdoor.
The latest Out-of-Home campaign from Canada's most-shopped retailer features Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer from the beloved 1964 television special alongside a drop-down sign which have been at the heart of Canadian Tire's TV and OOH efforts this year.
Rudolph just wouldn't be Rudolph however without his shiny red nose, which is where Pattison's expertise came in. Working with TAXI and MBS, Canadian Tire's creative and media buying agencies, respectively, 36 plastic "noses" were produced and installed on 10' x 20' Horizontal Posters in Toronto, Montréal and Vancouver, and, as the song goes, You would even say they glowed!
The campaign runs right up until Christmas, and while their primary goal may be to sell lights, Canadian Tire's innovative ads are sure to light up faces both young and old this holiday season!
