This piece is an acquired piece from a basic Udissi Classical Dance from North East India. The Nayika talks about her love for the Nayak extending beyond this lifetime. Enjoy.

  • Gosh! You girls rock! Everytime I see this clip, I´m reminded of what a graceful and decent dance Kathak is. Too bad Bollywood always decided to depict it in a bad way with courtesans´n´stuff. There are few dances in the whole world that have so much decency in it. As a woman and dancelover, I´m very concerned of what dances to take on, that will empower me as a woman and not make me look cheap or feel merely as a subject of entertainment for men. Kathak is one of the few.

    Well done!

  • Gr8 !!!!! veriiii nyc dance !!!!!

  • Thats Wunderfull...

  • Very sweet song. I agree with the person above. I loved the choreography very much. Very beautiful dancers. Would just like to see more facially. A la Madhuri Dixit, you know? lol

  • very nice I'm not or cheographer or anything, but I really thinkk that if there were more expressions in this dance you guys would look lovely, you ahave the potential to do soo much better, your hand movements and spins were graceful, however i feel like you guys weren't 100% connected with this song. take care and hope to see more posts

byee and keep up the good work!
