This town ks ok to learn later history about the west. My husband grew up here...it is so disgusting that I prefer  to stay at a hotel /motel 6 in globe. Superior is f up

This is my home town. I grew up at 1044 western avenue. This tow flourished during the mines life span, however Mother Magma went more or less belly up and focused more on the San Manuel mine, shortly after the closing of the McCabe division. You can get groceries intown but prices are steep and quality lacks. My family and my self were raised by Mother Magma, both in superior and San Manuel. Mining is the only hope for our town. I hope to be the third generation of Sixsmith to work underground

@chandler907 Local small business owners would be a much better way to go than having a walmart. Walmart can literally destroy a town, in more ways than one.

This town looks so scenic and pretty but wow it looks like such a ghost town. I'd get depressed if I lived there. I do plan on passing thru next summer during a southwestern road trip. Can anyone recommend any cool hotels?

Superior is a wonderful town and so many memories. To us, are grandfather, fathers, relatives and friends all knew what hard work is. To people from Superior or grew up there only we knew what good times were. And no matter how Superior looks we'll always carry our memories in our heart.
