Motion Painting 1: Reflesh (Red) (2009)

An excerpt from a series of silent video experiments using simple generative processes to modulate and animate video loops as well as map the resulting motion in real time to a still image using a video tracing effect similar in aesthetic to chronophotography. The series was an attempt to look at the contrast between process, as is found in video and motion pictures, and a final product, as is found in still images and paintings.
