Actually few classical anarchists were utopians, instead of relying on humanity to "evolve" we take away the instruments and vehicles of power that are abused-create a participatory/democratic social and economic way of organizing, putting people in direct face to face communication and decision making-people can still be assholes but they'd lack the ability to be of any real consequence-and find being a shithead against their own interest, as who wants to deal with a shithead?

one of the ideas anarchism promotes is relationships based on natural & voluntary human interactions instead of coercive relationships based on hierarchy, fear, and social class. once we realize that the state, government, military, and police arent there to protect us but an economic and political realities and systems, well realize all we have is each other, and if treat each other like shit theres no police to call, no jails to fill. we have to work things out together.
