It is in very good shape.
no scratches or hiss.
I always transfer my 78's to mp3 files.
Here's how:
If you have a standerd eletric phonograph, play it on that one and if it has output jacks, plug in the jacks to the phonograph, then the headphone jack into the line in on your sound card. :)
Have a great day!! :)

You are very welcome. One interesting little aside to Murray's wonderful phrasing and the amusing lyrics. Victor obviously changed one key word in this song toward the end, where the actual written lyrics should have been "With Phonographs make you a wreck", Murray sings instead "With Pianos make you a wreck". Obviously, Victor could not possibly have allowed a plug for Edison's competing Phonograph, to be heard on one of their disc records being played on one of their Talking Machines.
