This is a video of the laser vision correction surgery that was performed on my by Dr. Emil Chynn at Park Avenue Laser Vision in New York City. This is the newest, bladeless, flapless laser procedure (called LASEK, not LASIK) and I am now seeing 20/20, just days after the surgery.

Dr. Chynn was the first doctor in NY to perform lasik procedures, and has since performed over 9000 with no lawsuits or settlements. I would highly recommend going to Dr. Chynn if you live in the tri-state area!

  • how long does it take?

  • how the fuck can you not blink during that ? omg.

  • I wouldnt like this doctors tone sometimes cause the way he says "dont blink!" is very aggrevating; or when he says "dont twitch" HOW THE HECK AM I NOT SUPPOSED TO BLINK! Other than that, this was a very interesting video!

  • @tontotonto which i don't understand, because in other methods, the put it to the side and re-attach it, it acts like a suction cup

  • I hate when they say try not to blink... it's hard not to blinkespecially when there's something in your eye.

  • he scrapes off the cornea, it takes close to a year to recover and you are required to wear sunglasses for the rest of your life when it is sunny outside. so basically you are replacing glasses for sunglasses.

  • this doctor is a jerk

  • Epi LASEK is the most advanced , no cut , no flap technique. It can treat very high prescriptions which cannot be treated by LASIK. It is safe as there is no flap and flap related complications.

  • Epi-LASEK and LASIK are not similar procedures. Epi-LASEK and PRK are similar, HOWEVER in PRK, the epithelium is removed completely with a scraping device that crushes the cells and leaves residue. In epi-LASEK the patient's epithelium is expertly removed with a small mechanism and the epithelium serves as its own bandage following the procedure.

  • First of all it is LASEK...so if you are going to say something is a scam, I suggest you actually know what you are talking about.
