  • You shouldnt make it clear, the roots shouldnt get any light.

  • @L1z0w I have many eek-a-mouse songs. Another version of this song, I like crack cocaine and marijuana, and I like the eek-a-mouse song called crack cocaine and marijuana too. ;)

  • nice, the heater is a very good idea,

  • the more air stones used the better i use 3 to 4 in a 4ft by 4ft setup

  • just water works????

  • Tip: use a colored tub or paint the out side dark to prevent algae, place your air pump up above your cloner so if it gets unplugged or you have a power outage, the air line will siphon water down into air pump and ruin it not to mention what a shocking experience it could be. I used a hole saw and drill to cut holes & I make my foam clone holders cut out of a cheap foam sleeping bag pad from wal-crap-mart in the camping dept. . I added a submersible aquarium heater set to about 72 F. Good luck

  • Yep, solution or roots don't like light. Light to the solution will allow algae to grow.

  • Not true. Use wicks to draw water/fertilizer solution up to grow plugs until roots hit juice.

  • problem with bubler systems is they need to have the water level very high when plants dont have any roots. they are good for well developed roots. I like systems which use the shallowest water possible to save nutrient. Nutrients are expensive if you are on a budget. Thats the problem im finding with hydro is the nutrient usage is far higher than soil and who ever made those statistics about hydro using less water than soil grown produce were far from accurate. i find soil needs less water
