  • Seriously, why no subtitles?

  • Didn't it occur to you that there are many videos online not made accessible to the Deaf and that there are many for hearing people like you? Heck, not even CNN who has more economic opportunities to afford subtitling. Why don't you ask them that question? Pick on the multimillionaire companies, will ya?

  • Well it doesn't help you move on with Deaf Progressivism when most of the people that would need to be informed have no clue what you are saying. Although I admit I'm only really guessing the scope of these videos. Also I think most TVs have a subtitle function. I seem to remember turning it on and then hating it a while back. Anyway, I'm only questioning why you aren't doing something you would get more understanding from.

  • Just that I have been bombarded with this question over and over and I am getting tired of it. Not only that it is time consuming to do the subtitles but it is a daunting task to translate.

It is not a win win situation if you want to blog just to simply share your thoughts to a specific audience, in my case to the signers, when the signing impaired complain not having the ability to understand what was said. These signers dislikes to view with subtitles and the others dislikes without.

  • So to resolve the situation, I just include my transcripts for the most of my vlogs that I feel I wanted the signing impaired to know. This is just one of my vlogs that I do for fun.

  • oh my god

    are you alright

i am so glad you safe..

    i just wonder

may i add your subscribe?? thank

    i love your story;-)

    i am really hearing impaird

  • This is great.

This would be a great way for students of sign, who need to practice could do so without the "cheat sheet" of a transcript.

    An everyday discussion in sign.

    Kewl!

  • Wow, It really scared me. I will yell when a bat to me. I will wild out of control Lolz... You good to strong and take bat went out the window...

  • it got me laughing with your story! A bat came into my son's room during the night. My son, who was a teenager at that time, woke me up from the deep sleep. As you can imagine, it was an exciting night! lol We managed to scoot it out of the house somehow.

  • lmao! Or called Deaf Alcurd from Hellsing ;p

  • LOL! That's a scary experience for sure! I'd be scared shit too! Whoa! Thanks for sharing :)

  • [last part] My dog decided to make it a pet too! She bit it and the bat could no longer fly! So who is the real threat? WE are. The bats arent the offensive types!

  • I took it and gently encouraged it to walk on my hand. It was there making sonic sounds to figure out who I was. (mouth opening several times) I did pet it, and it was really friendly. I had absolutely no problem with it. I knew I had to let it go since there's not enough bugs in my room to feed it, so I eventually left it outside. The story ended well... UNTIL! (see next comment)

  • My God! Why is everyone freaking out of this? I had a bat in my bedroom once... And Ironically it was sleeping in the cave section of my paper made world... I was thrilled to have a bat in my bedroom... It was often coming close to my bed... Since I was scared at all.. The bat did not feel threatened by me... (see next comment)

  • WOW! it is excellent story..!
