I assume by your personal attack that you are much younger than me. Taxes and debt by the gov are based on expenditures. For every new government program like TARP the gov needs more money so it's new taxation or borrowing that you have to pay so you are wrong: taxpayers have to pay more in taxes due to TARP not the same amount. A piece of advice: speaking so offensively about subjects you are uneducated on, just makes you look ignorant. I'm sure you are not so try to think next time

Dumb ass the money given to banks was for bad mortgages, of which bank of America had non till they took over Countrywide and Merryll. You probably don't even know what TARP stands for. You just made yourself look like an ass in front of 100 people.

I assume by this second personal attack that you or your father works for Bank of Amerika. Regardless what the money was for the gov had no constitutional authority nor moral authority to give it to them for anything. Every dollar given to them is a dollar off my family's dinner table. If a bank is failing then it should be allowed to fail so those resources can be used more productively by successful companies. Econ 101. Again education is a powerful thing. That's why, I have only one bank, unfortunately, BofA, which holds my mortgage. I have a cheguing account, which is ONLY for my mortgage! I get a paycheck, and I CASH that paycheck.
Frankly 'Tia' is a also a paid RERESENTA TIVE, of BofA...I have a roof and kids to look after too, but if I come with a story, do you think SHE gives a fuck? No..so why should I care?
