Ns coal train in Newark Ohio Bike trail

We were very bored on Dec 29 2009. So we went downtown and found this coming toward us so we chased it to a road on the bike path. This is a vid of us riding beside it.

Yeah. Im not so sure theres a market for that right now. Here or elsewhere. There was some talk about one in hebron but the city wouldnt ok it. But Let me know what your thinking, Ive always wanted to be a conducter.

Well we plan to use track that is still in place. We are most likely going to lease it from G&W. We have located a possible GP-9 for power, and the old passenger car up north on 13 a bit is for sale. Other than that nothing has been started but hope to start soon.

Nice video. I was able to do the same thing on the path further toward Hanover. I never did post the video though. I love it when trains go by and your riding the path. I just had that happen again last night. I ride that path all the time.

This is just outside of Newark heading east. Main Street crossing has a bike train next to it. I was about one mile east of there.
