UN Foundation and Kris Allen in Haiti B-roll package

American Idol's Kris Allen traveled to Haiti with the UN Foundation to raise further awareness of the country's continuing needs after last month's earthquake.

Since the Earthquake, the UN has been working hand-in-hand with Haitians to help them recover. In the months ahead, the UN's life-saving work will continue, including delivering food and water to millions of Haitians, providing opportunities for employment to more than 200,000 people and ensuring women and children are safe from mitigating diseases such as measles and malaria.

I'm glad it's not only devastation but hope that's seen in the people's faces over there. Thank God for all the outpouring of help, love, and support from everybody. Really appreciate what the UN's been doing there. Also, Kris, what a genuinely caring human being.

but kris is definately not.

he was on christian mission for years before idol and for his honest personality, we can believe this is so true.

i am glad to see him to get this oppotunity.
