Heres Dream Theater's "Nightmare to Remember" with Charlie Z drumming on top of CD Audio. The drums in the Blast Beat section is isolated to hear the clarity of the overdubbed drums.

its not him everybody. he tweeted a few months about how DT saw his videos but didnt ask him to audition. and he wasnt in the video this morning. its a shame though, i wanted him to be the guy

Something tells me the reason Charlie is unable to be in Blotted Science for the EP this year is (hopefully) because he will be/is with Dream Theater in the studio. But then again Blotted Science has had drummer problems before and Charlie is a session musician.

Whether this man auditions or not, just having the knowledge that someone is this fabulous at their instrument is reward enough. But Dream Theater would be idiotic to not consider this machine of a musician.

I know you can't say right now if you are one of the 7 to audition for DT. But if you are not one of them, I will be very disappointed. All the drum covers so far definitely proves that you are more then capable of making DT even better.
