I know this video is years old, but my reply to anyone watching this with the same problem, would be to tell the boy the exact truth. You appreciate his feelings toward you, and respect / care about him enough to know that it's not going anywhere, and that you want to end it for his benefit, so he can move on and find someone who truly appreciates him. Keeping him in a loveless relationship is only going to hurt him in the long run, if you do it now, the sooner he heals and moves on. Good Luck.
