This short sequence was recorded using cheap equipment and free software but shows what can be done quickly and simply with a bit of imagination. Software used was Audacity 1.2 and hardware was a cheap USB headset.

NOTE: This audio sequence is best listened to with good speakers or, preferably, good headphones, in order to enjoy its range of sounds.

  • Love your Vids, are you going to enlighten us as to what the actual sounds were?

  • @AERTANK Neil, I was trying to make a video demonstrating how the sounds were made yesterday but I couldn't get FRAPS to record what I was doing in Audacity. You'd be surprised how easy it is. Most of the noises are just me making breathing and growling noises into the mic and then changing the pitch and adding reverb etc.

  • you are weird...

  • @Aviationnation10 Believe it or not there are many interesting sounds in movies which were recorded in the most fascinating ways.
