From: http://www.youtube.com/lolgina I have scar tissue from surgery slightly below the waist from an orchiectomy. Is there any massage that could relieve the sensitivity of this area, or break up the scar tissue?

  • Thank you so much for your advice. I do need to ask before I even try to attempt massaging, does this work for burn scars that are about 8 yrs old? Thank you in advance for your response.

  • Also to the munchkin's who keep saying, "Love your scars.":

When serious scar tissue develops (as is often the case in whiplash and surgery) it can take a lot more to get that tissue to be reabsorbed into the body. If it is not gotten rid of, it can cause numbness of the nerves in an area, decreased flexibility, and ultimately, pain.

  • Hiya. I just had surgery on my wrist to remove a ganglion cyst on September 16th and stitches removed the 29th. So it has been 4 weeks since my surgery.

What kind of massage or exercise do you recommend?

  • what do you recomend for scar tissue under the eybrow?
