Mochtroid Metal: A Tribute to Metroid Metal Preview

I figured since I'm going to probably finish and release it in the next few days, I might as well upload this since I had already made it. This is what my 'Project TBA' is. (TBA is To Be Announced for anyone who doesn't actually know.) Well, this is my little tribute to Metroid Metal. If you haven't heard Metroid Metal...I really have nothing to say to you. (Just kidding, but seriously, check it out.) Stemage has been one of my idols ever since I got into music, mainly because of how well he put music together and played it by himself (with a few people playing an instrument on certain tracks occasionally). If it's 2010 in a couple of weeks, I will have been listening to Metroid Metal for about 5 years, and I have never been dissapointed. This will be released as an album with some special content added in (probably the two 'music videos' for Magmoor and Tallon Overworld, a couple of bonus tracks like demo versions since a few songs have changed since the originals, and a couple of artwork/picture/image things or something like that. I plan to release it before Christmas, but if I can't finish by then, it should be out around New Years for sure. Anyways, let me know what you guys think, and I will try to finish the rest of the tracks in the next couple of days. :)

UPDATE (12/31/09): Mochtroid Metal might be a little late. bboynoe is going to do one more song from Prime 1 and I still have a couple more to record, which I couldn't finish in the last week because my computer crashed, but I fixed it yesterday, so I'll do my best to finish the rest of the songs remaining. There will be around 50 tracks total. For anyone curious about which songs will be on the album, here is the final setlist:

Also for anyone who wants to know, every game form the Metroid series except for Corruption will have at least two songs. The only two games I didn't do any songs from are Hunters and Zero-Mission (mainly because most of the music is the same as the original NES game) There will be around 40 songs not including bonus tracks. There are actually quite a few songs from Fusion, so hopefully those will be something new.

I actually meant to say something about that, but of course YouTube has the limit on comments. I meant to say that the only song I really would've done from MPH was the Intro, which didn't really work out. I had to delete the part from my previous comment.

Awesome work so far, Mochtroid; keep rockin' like a hurricane!  Personally, I'd get a big kick out of a "boss medley" of some sort; still, this will be your album, not mine.

So...when you say it will be released as an album, are we talking an actual CD? Or is it Web only?

It'll probably be a zip folder or something with all of the songs and stuff in it. I'll most likely post it on my mediafire account and post a link somewhere for it. There won't really be a boss medley, but there will be a couple of boss songs that no one has ever covered before.
